The Health Policy Development Program (HPDP) is a five-year (2012-2017) United States Agency for International Development (USAID) health policy project implemented by the UPecon Foundation, Inc.

It works with the Department of Health (DOH) to scale-up Universal Health Care to ensure greater access to quality health care and improved health for the Filipino family.

HPDP is looking for graduates of medicine or other health-related courses, public administration, economics and other social sciences, management, communications, information technology, statistics or mathematics who are interested in health policy and systems development work.

Available scopes of work include, among others:

  • Conducting case studies on local approaches or innovations used to accelerate the scale-up of FP/MNCHN interventions;
  • Helping the DOH orient partners at the subnational level on new family health-related policies/guidelines; and
  • Conducting consultations with regional/local partners in developing policies for improving FP/MCH and TB program implementation.

HPDP offers a highly competitive compensation package, depending on individual qualifications.
